Webinar Invitation - UoN International Day of Persons with Disability 2021

The University of Nairobi in collaboration with the National Council for Persons with Disability (NCPWD), Kenya Society for the Blind (KSB) and Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa (OSIEA) have organized celebrations to mark the International Day of Persons with Disability (IDPD) on Wednesday 1st to Friday 3rd December 2021 from 8 am to 4 pm at the Great Court and Taifa Hall, Main Campus.  The celebrations this year at the University of Nairobi are geared towards showcasing the efforts that the University is making to enhance inclusion and provide a context for discussing strategies that the higher education sector and the country, in general, need to deploy to build onto some gains during the COVID-19 pandemic period such as the adoption of online learning while addressing the emerging and recurring challenges.   A Webinar on the topic “Building on experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic to enhance disability inclusion in higher education in Kenya” has been organized to discuss these pertinent issues.  Webinar Date: Friday, December 3, 2021.  Time:  9.00 am - 12.30 pm.

World Aids Day - Virtual Celebrations

The University invites you all to join the global community in celebrating this year's World Aids Day on Wednesday,1st December 2021 from 2.00 pm-5.00 pm. The theme for this year's celebration is -END INEQUALITIES, END AIDS, END PANDEMICS. The celebrations will be held virtually. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kiama Gitahi will be the Chief Guest. Prof . Omu Anzala and  Dr. Loise Ombajo from the Faculty of Health Sciences will give keynote addresses. High Schools Career Fair & Expo at the University of Nairobi

The Directorate of Career Services has organized a High Schools Career Fair & Expo physically and live on UoN Facebook page. You can now follow the proceedings online or attend physically the event in Chandaria Auditorium & the Great Court, Main Campus. Date: Friday November 26, 2021. Time:  8.00 am – 5.00pm The objectives of the Career Fair & Expo are to support the students in making wise career choices and inspire them to discover, develop and achieve their full potential. The students will also get a feel of what programs the University of Nairobi has to offer to guide them as they make their University selections.
