The department has had a number of Estates Managers. To mention briefly, Mr. Grimes was the first to head the department followed by Mr. Gitonga Mwaniki, Mr. Daniel Oriko, Prof. P. M. Syagga (acting), Mr. Riungu, Mrs Sarah Ngugi, Mr T. M. Thuita then Qs. Andrew K. Mbuku who is the current Director after the department was merged to Directorate of Facility Management (Estates, Transport and Maintenance).
