Covid-19 Vaccination Exercise - Moderna Vaccine

The Director, University Health Services Dr. Lucy Muhia has announced that the University Vaccine Centre will be rolling out the 1st dose of the modern vaccine (mRNA) starting Monday 06-Sept-2021. In her memo to all staff, she said the moderna vaccine will only be administered to eligible persons who had not received any other type of COVID-19 vaccination. The second dose of the moderna vaccine will be administered 28 days apart.

The director encouraged all staff who had not been vaccinated to avail themselves of this opportunity by reserving a slot via Vaccination Portal: vaccination.uonbi.ac.ke. The prior booking will enable the UHS plan in advance for ease of queue management.
