The European Commission has set aside full funding for research on, 'Safe, Resilient Transport & Smart Mobility services for passengers & goods'. Please contact the offices of the RIE if you need any assistance in the preparation of your proposals. Also, note that this funding opportunity has a very tight deadline.

Comrades' Watch Party - Ferdinand Omanyala 100m sprint at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics

A watch party will be hosted to cheer on our very own Ferdinand Omanyala who qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in 100m sprint category. Ferdinand is a 2nd year Bachelor of Science in Chemistry student at the Faculty of Science & Technology.

The watch party will be held in the Taifa Hall, the University of Nairobi on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 (for those who have registered) from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The rest can join us live through our social media platforms using the hashtags #uonstars #watchparty. The attendees should be seated by 1:00 pm.

Covid-19 Vaccination Exercise at the University Health Services

The University of Nairobi Director of Corporate Affairs Mr. John Orindi has advised that those among the University Community (Students, Staff/Dependents above 18 years) and who have not been vaccinated, should at the earliest voluntarily avail themselves for the vaccination programme that has been running in the University Health Services. This will curb the spread of COVID-19, especially the Delta variant that is spreading at a very fast rate.
